Jim-Bob Belcher, a student at Wyalusing Valley, right, killed this impressive 18-point buck at 7:30 a.m. on opening day in Stevens Township. According to Jim-Bob, the trophy deer came from behind him. “I heard crunching, turned and got it with one shot.” It was Jim-Bob’s first deer.
