Rocket-Courier > Opening day proved to be a successful one for the Belcher family of RR 4, Wyalusing. Jim-Bob Belcher, a student at Wyalusing Valley, right, killed this impressive 18-point buck at 7:30 a.m. on opening day in Stevens Township. According to Jim-Bob, the trophy deer came from behind him. “I heard crunching, turned and got it with one shot.” It was Jim-Bob’s first deer. A half-hour earlier, his father, Tony, left, killed a nine-point buck, also in Stevens Township. Also pictured is Tony Belcher, Jr.
